Re: False SERVICE ENGINE SOON light for glow plug
When my Ex hit around 5000 miles, the check engine light came on. The dealer said that the code indicated that there was a bad glow plug relay but they tested it and nothing seemed wrong. Reset the computer and I was on my way. Came on again, back to dealer, said same thing and actually replaced #2 glow plug relay. Reset computer and on my way. Light came on again (3 more times like this) dealer finally replace the #2 glow plug and I have not had the check engine light back on for 30,000 miles.
