Ryan,
There was this guy up in Roswell that I think ran better that that on his first run, OH WAIT that was YOU!!!!!! You have the fastest that I have heard about, Faster than mine, HECK it was faster than my mustang that night.
You guys and gals should have seen the DROPED jaws after his run that night
I ASSUME you meant 4WD not FWD as in Front Wheel Drive
He launched in 4WD
I have to tell you I was one of the shocked and awed

Yeah I remember that Excursion from awhile back. It was pretty fast.
I want to dip down well into the 13's. I am just waiting on a compressor wheel upgrade or something like that. Dont want to add propane just yet, I think the egt's are high enough as it is. I need more air (nitrous is a thought). But I want it all the time.
I guess ill just wait awhile since the 6.0 is a pretty new platform and all...

That's what I thought, 4WD launch. Probably better than having a full tank of fuel and using 2WD. What a blast, I would have loved seeing the looks on the faces of the crowd when your ET came up in lights! The Hypermax website Excursion knocked about a second off the 1/4 et by using 4WD, and I think it was somewhere around 14.3. Holding the brakes and allowing the boost to build would help also. I'm planning to run the 1/4 some time this fall. Dale

Yes, even with more weight on the rear with a full tank, it is pretty much useless without slicks or something like that. And I was holding (standing) on the brakes and building about 20-21 ponds of boost at the line. I could have built more but the truck would just start lurching forward. It still was spinning all four tires for about the first 8-10 feet. Geez I guess im only a 1/10th away from having the fastest. I had no idea. I hope to get some better times before the track closes for the winter months though.

If you ran it in the same conditions like Englishtown NJ when Greg Anderson set the NHRA Pro Stock record of 6.670 207.18 in May you should run 13.90's . Greg Anderson set track records at the NHRA Mile-High Nationals in Morrison CO last month with a 7.205 191.38.
Probably in a few weeks, I have been real busy lately. Got a shop full of cars and I am trying to get em all done. Got a tdy to Sheppard and I leave on monday so I am thinking about going when I get back.
I dont know if there is a track out around there but if the elevation is a lot lower, I would like to see what it would run out there.
Ill let you know when I get some people together and we all go up there again.

There is a strip and a dirt track right out from the base. Look in the Phone Book. I just got back from JEMI class and was given the rental car the go round.
You should be about 1 sec faster there all thing being equaled.
Ryan is going to run the wagon up in Maryland tonight.
