After looking around for almost 2 months, the wife and I finally dove into a 2001 X Limited.
All options except the rear entertainment center..Got great financing..and it runs like a bute!
So far I haven't noticed any suspension issues, but thats probably because my old explorer, which I traded in, had bad shocks..so i kinda got used to the bucking bronco..
Anyways, just wanted to post, and am glad I'm part of an awesome community...hey..my wife even likes it so I can't beat that!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new baby. If you're like me.....you've probably read a ton of good info from this site already, right? Well, if you haven't heard yet, let me be the first to suggest that you remove the luggage rack cross bars at your earliest opportunity. The knucklehead engineers designed it so the cross bars lay right against the roof paint and road vibration will cause the paint to wear away from the rubbing. The cross bars can be removed without the use of any tools. Just depress the tabs and slide them forward or aft to remove them from the rails. Enjoy your new Ex.

Mine is in new car prep as I speak and will be taking delivery this evening!! I can't wait!
Mine is the 01 Limited (White)also, fully equiped and with the rear entertainment system. Not sure how much use that option will get, but the only two limiteds left on the lot both had it.
The other one was Black with the No Boundries paint scheme! Man, that was one baaaaaadddd looking truck (totally blacked out)!!! But I own two black cars now, and no matter how good it looked, another black vehicle was not in the cards!!
