Re: Finally, I found a PSD Excursion!!!

I found a 2002 PSD LTD 4wd with 41K miles. It has DVD, larger exhaust, pillar gauges etc. Oasis checks out OK. Asking 33K at Ford dealer. I think its worth 29-30K. Any thoughts?

Re: Finally, I found a PSD Excursion!!!

Sounds like a good deal, I wish I could have found a 2002 to get a better intrest rate than the 01, Oh well they seemed to be over $32k out here (keep in mind UTAH land of many wives, and many more kids)

Re: Finally, I found a PSD Excursion!!!

Ford just announced some short term incentives too. Including rebates AND 0% interest for up to 60 months.

This is IF a new one is at all of interest to you.

Re: Finally, I found a PSD Excursion!!!

Last fall bought one of the cheapest 2000 Limited, 4x4 powrstroke X's I found for sale. Looked on ebay, autotrader and localy for a few months and finally found a cheap one only 80 miles away on autotrader.com. It's black with tan bottom, front heated seats with brand new tires and tow mirrors. 104K in pretty good shape $20,400 out the door. Financing was tough however as most banks don't like to lend money on a vehicle over 90K miles. Had to go with Ford Credit at 8.9% five years with $3K down. Sticker was $18,999 and they would not drop the price a penny but did fill up the truck which was $60.00!

Now has 114K and have replaced the CPS, front grill and tow mirrors due to light damage from the one previous owner. Found a piece of broken rear window glass while cleaning it one day so unsure of it was banged up. Carfax came back perfect.

What I really want to know is where you found your X, mine is missing and I would like her back Oh, I see you are talking about a Truck I really didn't want the X back anyway, I was just going to warn you to stay clear of this troublemaker. Yea, you don't want to go there That is worth the 19.99 per year.

It's up now, $19.95 for 6 months or $49.95 for a year for Platnum I beleive. I just noticed I don't have access to, or they moved, the classifieds. I love strolling through parts for sale looking for stuff I just have to have!! Actually, I'd love to get a hold of a good aftermarket FI so I can dump the Merc MPI and get into all the work in the engine. I could get a lot more power out of it if I hadn't insisted in trying to do it while keeping that junk GM FI. I just don't want to go carb, but may do it just to see what power is really in it. There was a lot of head work and a good cam that just can't do anything in the upper RPM range with that MPI choker. But all it takes is money as you very well know!

LOL You want 10 MPH? Part with $10k
