I recommended that you do not pull pin 13 but instead cut the green black wire (pin 13) above the stub connector. Make sure to leave enough wire so that you can splice into it and then solder at the splice it you want.
I have no idea how Steve pried the middle crimps back on the Molex connector but it is damn near impossible, your better off soldering on to the crimp if you want to go this route. If you damage this connector have a fun time trying to find a new one, trust me!!!
