Fog Lights

I just picked up my first X car with 13000 on it. Just love it so far. The guy who ordered it didn't want two-tone so he ordered the XLT and then started loading it up. He got it all right except for fog lights.

Does anyone except Ford make a fog light kit that looks factory and comes with the new head light switch?

First off - welcome to a great site. Read and enjoy. There is a lot of information to be had.

Now to your question. He did not get the fog light because it was not available from Ford as an option until 2001 model year. Ford does offer the kit to install the fog lights on a 2000 model year. I am unsure of an aftermartket kit that "looks" factory.

Welcome to the site - I liked the look of the factory fogs - bought a pair in "for sale".

Some of our members need more light that
the factory setup - so they sell them here.

Look in the "search" area for different ways to

i installed an air dam and had to remove the factory lights, if interested let me know, you would only have to purchase the switch, the lights were only on 1 week before removal.

The factory fog lights probably aren't worth much; they hardly put out any light. If you are really interested in fog lights that do something, get a set of PIAA's. Pricey but extremely well made and the light output and focus is remarkable. There are other good lights for less $$$ that are also available. Quality isn't as good but certainly acceptable.
