Hi All,
I just porchased a 2001 Excursion w/45k miles. I found the original dealer invoice in the glove box and the original owner purchased the 6 year 100000 mile premium care warranty. Is this transferable? How can I find out?

I just traded my 2000 Excursion for a new 2003 a few weeks ago so I cancelled the same warranty and just received a check for about $930 from the dealer that sold be the 2000 .So if the person that sold the 2001 Excursion did the same thing your out of luck but you can transfer the warranty for about $50 if the original owner did not cancel it and you get them to sign the paperwork.

Have your dealer punch the vehicle info into their computer. It might show if it is in the national system.
