UPS stopped by today and delivered a pair of chairs from Ford Outfitters. I had heard of free stuff from Ford but thought maybe that was just for 2000 X owners. Is everybody getting free stuff from Ford?

Ford is giving me a new tranny at 5000 miles! Does that count [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img] [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img] ! Actually there was an internal problem with it and it is being replaced no questions asked even with the mods..

I got mine about 2 months after the purchase (July). It has all the "No Boundries" Excursion stiching on it along with a keychain. I thought we all got them.

Just curious, from those who did and did not get chairs....I got chairs 5 days after I sent in the questionnaire. Funny thing, I got a really cool truck pack about 5 days after sending in the questionnaire for my Suburban. I did not get a questionnaire (and no freebie) when I bought my Impala.
Is there a pattern here? Did those who did not receive the chairs not fill out the survey? Did all who get them fill out a survey? [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img]

Totally boring completely stock Ex 4x4 PSD.
We use them when we go camping. I’ve had other Ford owners ask where we got them. The look on their face is priceless when I tell them it was a gift from Ford. I'm glad we picked the chairs.

Is there a link to this questionaire you're talking about, any info at all??

Turbodave, I contacted the Insider group after about 4 months to ask about the chairs. The week of Thanksgiving they showed up with the questionaire asking if I wanted chairs or a cooler? Left hand does not know what the right is doing.
I will say it took some effort to get inroled in the insider group. For about two weeks I hounded them for a code and password. http://www.myexcursion.fordvehicles.com

Thanks, but they gave me some song-and-dance about the Ford Insiders program being filled to capacity and not taking any new members, and even getting ready to terminate the whole program [img]images/icons/frown.gif[/img]
So no new chairs for me [img]images/icons/mad.gif[/img]
I'm not so sure I believe them though.
