Fords fix for saggy X Ucode front springs

Yup, the same time I got my racks fixed, they "fixed" my springs. The service guy calls me and tells me "We got a fix for your springs. It's hot off the press! Not even posted anywhere yet. We're going to install the 2003 Jounce Bumpers!"

I debated with them that it wasn't going to fix the springs. That wasn't effective. They told me that the spec in the book of 4.44" was a height for new springs and my springs with 2500 mi. on them at 4.25 were fine. Spring sag was normal. This was per the "Hotline". But nobody could tell me at what point the springs would be bad.

It did change things, not for the better, just a change. Now it feels like I'm riding on marshmallows.

Tell that jerk off that the 03's are only good for Service Techs to use as Butt Plugs so their brains don't leak out. I am watching mine sag at 9800 miles and I am adding a 2" add-a-leaf for this problem....simple and cheap and I can do it so they won't have to hold by truck hostage for a week to do an hour long job. "Give me a Warrenty and I can have my Truck fixed once...give me the tools and I can fix the truck for life" Guess what I put my $2000 savings in to.
