Front to back height difference in stock 4x4 Excursion?
Hi guys,
I'm having a little confusion in finding which rear springs I need to get. I have a Superlift 7" front spring for diesel engine. It is the same PN for a superduty but they list it as a 6" for SD. So I really don't know if that 7" spring actually got me 7" or just 6"...same as a SD.
I have staked blocks in the rear and want to go with all spring in the back. Superlift sells a 4" and a 5" for Superduty but I want a level stance...no stinkbug look for me. Does anyone know which set I should get? I think maybe the 5" because of the added weight in the rear of an X.
I have called Superlift but they are ZERO help and claim they don't know what will level me out. I also have airbags and I think I may have gained a 1/2" in the rear end when running 5-10 PSI empty. I can live with 1/2" a$$ high...BUT NO HIGHER. I am planing on keeping the stock 2" block as I need it to function with my airbag system.
Also, I tow a pretty large toybox and don't want to lose any carrying capacity. What would you guys do?
Thanks,
Alin
