Front End Clunk----FOUND & FIXED ! ! !
Well I figured out the front end mystery clunking noise on my 02 7.3L, 124K. I don't remember who on here posted that the issue could be the "track bars." Seeing they had as I have checked everything else out and it seemed to be just fine. I went to Napa and picked up a set Napa part # NCP2651631 they are calling it Sway Bar Repair Kit - Front Susp. And yes, they have the kink in it like the oems. Took the old ones out. They were shot. Installed the new ones and the clunking noise is now gone ! Plus the front is handling as it should. Oh, it also came with 4 new bolts. Pretty simple to change out. Just a heads up when you go to take out the passenger side upper bolt, you will see that it hits the bottom of the starter housing. If you take the lower bolt out and stick it thought the upper bolt hole, tap with hammer and you will be able to get the old upper bolt out. Then to get the new one back in, just insert it till the head hits the starter houseing, have a good line up with it and light couple of taps with hammer and it will go in no problem.
