Re: Front end shimmy@high speed after front rotor replacement
You can have your tires/wheels checked, but it sounds as though your latest shimmy started immediately after the front rotors were replaced and rear rotors were turned, right? If so, there's a chance that there was some debris stuck on the rotor or hub and when they installed everything. If so, they simply trapped that debris in between the two surfaces which may be causing your rotor and wheel to wobble. Can you jack up the front end and spin the tire? When spinning it, watch the tread and or sidewall very closely. If it waivers at all.....you may have found your problem. This is kind of a long shot....but I think it's definitely worth checking out.
It is also possible that your rear rotors were turned untrue. Meaning, they did not have the rotor chucked up properly in the machine before cutting/turning. But, even if the rears were cut bad, it wouldn't (or at least shouldn't) cause your steering wheel to shimmy.
Re: Front end shimmy@high speed after front rotor replacement
I had this problem on another truck I had and it ended up being the front steering stabilizer. If yours is worn out this will help alot.
