Bella how did the installation of the 2005 heated TT signal mirrors go? I saw them listed on your sig. Are they the stock Ford ones or after market? I think you have a '02 like me. Here we go...my Ford parts guy said that the wiring harness changed when they came out with the 6.0 diesel and that the 2003-2005 heated TT signal mirrors would not work on my 7.3 diesel X.
Please post pics, I really like the look of the bull-nose bumper and it probably looks awesome on your truck.
Thanks,
-Mike

read this... 2003 Mirror install on the mirrors. I would print it out and take it to the Ford parts guy and say told ya!! Then get the mirrors from OTHRHOG a member here for $300. Then sell your 2002 TT mirrors for $175-$200. That's what I did.
The bull-nose bumper does look awesome. It is growing on me...At first I just thought it was ok, but now I like it!! Wife hates it Both of us love the rear bumper!! Still fighting the fit thing on the front bumper...its off on one side by 3/4". May need to grind a weld off and refit just a bit.
There are X springs with 40K miles in the for sale section for $150.00!!!
I have been out shooting picturs all day for clients and still need to get some shots of the new bumpers. twoodballa, How about some pictures of the lifted Ex with the new springs??

I'm still working on getting a digital cam to snap some pics with. Hopefully I will find one before the 7th but if not you can just get a good look at it in person.

Here are the part numbers for the front and rear springs.
X-code front springs: 2C3Z-5310-AF List price $167.55 per spring
B-code rear springs: EC3Z-5560-CB List price $144.51
I also have the part numbers for helper springs and all the related hardware involved in adding them, though they will not fit on an X. Also if anyone is looking for helper springs I do have a set laying in the basement that are brand new. Sorry it took so long to get the part numbers.

I know that the helper springs will not work on the X because of the rear A/C & Heater lines. Is this the only issue that you know of? I have not had time to look under the X, but how hard would it be to relocate those lines enough to clear the brackets? I would think that the stock rear springs with the helper springs would give me the best of both worlds, nice ride when empty and nice support when I have my 750lb tongue weight trailer connected. Also, would 4" blocks in the rear balance out the height of X code spings in the front?
Thanks,

The ac lines are already tucked up against the body, so I do not beleive you could relocate them enough to clear while having the bump stops for the helper springs in the right location. Also my particular vehicle did not have the bolt holes drilled for the bumper brackets. The only thing you could do is mount the brackets lower, but that may cause the helper springs to make contact when not loaded as well. Finally in order to drill the holes and mount the brackets you would have to drop the fuel tank and the protective shield for the tank as well.
4" blocks will level the truck with X springs in front. Using the F-350 springs it sit ever so slightly high in the rear, but only I have noticed it so far.
The ride so far is slightly more bumpy because we are sill using the stock shocks but I gladly live with the slight increase in bumps than having the front end launched into the air on ever small bump like before.
