Now I have a front receiver hitch on our Excursion,it came with the bumper [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

How far in front of the bumper does the hitch extend when the insert is NOT in it? ie: how far does the receiver hitch protrude forward?

My receiver insert is set back from the front of the push bumpers when you look at it from the side.

Boat puller. Mine does not stick out at all. It is actually recessed a little. We need a front license plate here in Texas so I made a mount for the L.P. to fit into the reciever. It works great. Look at Bob Rileys site for some good pics.

Mine sits back from the bumper about 2 inches looking at it from the side.
