Ok, I've just been searching here for spring s codes that match these part #'s for front springs.
F81AADD and #RPN1128 was stamped under the other #.
I am hoping these are snow plow prep springs x codes or similar, as they came froma 1999 F250 XL 4x4 work truck with 6spd and v10 and plow.
I have done sesarches read tons of threads in the searchs for front springs, spring codes, part # etc etc. I also have a 2 vol set of the 2000 ford superduty work shop manual and I can't find different spring part #s in the manual either. The door sticker was removed on this truck in the junk yard..so the sticker is no help. I have the Vin #1FTNF21S5XEA96298
Truck had 79k on it
Here are pictures.
snow plow ? spring and stock 5.4 gasser excursion spring
part # front springs
are the plastic shim / spacers that go on thearound the center bolt available separately?
Thanks
Deo

I don't know why Ford changed the numbers around so much from year-to-year. It's very likely that your junk yard springs are V codes. The one thing that seems to be consistent in the 99-04 models was the V codes all seem to have had 'AD' in the stamped numbers, and the 99 model years were split like that on the ends. You may want to send a pm to Caryt and Smokeywren, they both know quite a bit about springs and might be able to help.
yeah I am not sure why they have two different part # s for something the stamped # and the part # .. kinda confusing.. I'm new to fords..vw and dodge don't do that. haha.
I did PM Caryt regarding the stamped # ..hopefully your right and they are early '99 V codes. ha.. It would save me some time and $ etc. I did take apart the B Code set and modified them tonight..it went pretty easy the G code center bolt worked nice, as the B code center bolt had to be cut off it would not loosen up argh..
Thanks
