Finally took the plunge! $6000 off MSRP ($140 over invoice) and 2.9% financing seemed pretty hard to beat. I had planned this purchase about a year down the road but decided I'd better not pass up this opportunity. Got the last 4X4 Limited PSD in Tulsa-yes, the same one I thought was sluggish. I'm just used to my 95 F350 CC PSD with 4.10 gears. The '95 PCM programing is a lot different than today's. Love the Excursion! It dwarfs anything you park it next to. Best of all, it seats all four kids with room to spare. Love the ride, but plan on the edelbrock or bilstein upgrades when the factory shocks die. Any of those who have pre-turbo pyros, where did you put mount the fitting? I had it welded just aft of the drivers side manifold on the '95, but the Excursion doesn't seem to have as much free pipe accessible. Any comments welcome.

Well done, It's nice parking next to somebody and eclipsing the sun on them.. Do you have the reverse sensors? I have them and they are great... Still getting over the room in this thing, almost have to call on a cell phone to the person on the back seat.. Guy
Congrads on the new EX. I can relate to the comment about using the cell phone to contact passengers and lots of room for kids. We have three (children, not cell phones) and when we all load up I have to turn around and make a good look-see to be sure the three kids are back there seated!
We have had our Excursion 4 months and have yet to take a trip in it. We only have 4000 miles on it to-date. Every time I drive it I dream of the day we pack up our 6 (that's right, SIX!) children and head out to who cares where!
Kevin, you and I are probably less than 2 hours apart if you are close to Tulsa. I hope you are getting this cooler weather that moved in here today!
