Has anyone had any Experience w/ The Brite Box?

I have an '01 X and constantly pull back on the dimmer switch to get both the high & low beams on at the same time. I know it can overheat the switch, but with the dark country roads I travel I need that little extra light. The Brite Box "says" they solve that problem without damaging or overheating the lights, wiring, & switches.

Has anyone had any experience with this product in their X? I am nervous about messing with wiring, on-board computers, and other things requiring electicity.

Also, do the lower driving lights remain with the Brite Box in high beam mode?

Re: Has anyone had any Experience w/ The Brite Box?

I have one on my X for the last 10K miles without any problem. The only semi tough part is finding a place to attach the unit. It works as advertised.

Re: Has anyone had any Experience w/ The Brite Box?

I just bought a brite box for my 03 F350 SD. Havn't had time to install it yet. I don't no why don't work right now. Back injury put me off work for awhile. I'm falling a part at the young age of 33.
