Has anyone mounted a cargo basket to their factory roof rack?

I just received the Proline basket w/the extension for my X.Has anyone mounted one to the factory roof rack? I am waiting for the Thule rack set-up to come in the mail, but would like to go without it to keep the height down.

That's pretty funny That's exactly what I use my Con Ferr roof rack for. A shooting platform for taking architecture pictures Mine is on a lowly ol pick up cap though.
