Heated Mirror not working

My Driver's side mirror (TT) moves fine, but it is not heating up. Any quick fixes out there? where should i start trouble shooting? fuse? connections? heating element? entire mirror? etc...

This is my first winter with heated mirrors. I must say My Passenger side mirror is money!!! It heats up nice and is much nicer to look at compared to the driver's side.... I'd love to get both sides working!

thx,
doze

Re: Heated Mirror not working

The dealer told me that the rear window defroster switch has to be on for the Excursion heated mirrors to work. Have not been able to test mine yet as it is at the dealer for a oil leak (they have to pull the engine).

The dealer said the Owners Manual is wrong.
Try it and let me know if it works. Thanks.
