Hellwig upper bolts ? - Diesel Forum

Ever since my rear Hellwig install, the upper mounting bolts through the frame are loose. Every bump I hit I hear them rattle up and down. I have checked to make sure everything is tight. It seems the bolts are a little small for the frame holes.
I know lots of folks have installed these, so what have I done wrong?

If the diameter of the bolts are abit small could you pull a bolt out and get a pair that'll fit snug?
The pair that came with my kit fit snug with no play.
I did happen to have about dozen oversized nuts/bolts/washers left over,seems they would be big enough for a Navistar frame.

Mine did the same thing about 5x on the driver side...
Last time I put some real STRETCH on it.
Figured if it broke, I could go down to the hardware store and get antoher... Loctite didn't work either....
I think it is because of the "tar" coating on the frame rail.
It mushes out after awhile.....
Keep at it, it will probably stop.
