So I thought 2003 Ex's had a rear sway bar. Well at least our 7.3l model doesn't.
Which sway bar works better? Since I have to purchase everything cost isn't the big issue.

If you're buying to install, not replace, go with Helwig. Little better bar, and installs better. Downside is the hardware appearenrtly, but you can pick up good hardware at the hardware store. When I bought one 4 or so years ago, it was fine.

I looked at summitracing and they want $210 for it. Does that sound right?
What is wrong with the hardware?

I just went through this process of buying a Hellwig. Summit was $2XX something, couple of guys on the list pointed me towards JCWhitney. Just got it yesterday - complete kit to my door $159.00. I cancelled the order with Summit (did get the Firestone bags from them though).
I have been skeptical of the quality of stuff from JCWhitney.

My hellwig from jcwhitney showed up about 2 weeks ago, and I put it on about a week ago. It does a good job of reducing body roll, and it's fairly easy install.
I can't tell you how it compares to the OEM bar though.

They're just a distributor for Hellwig. I wouldn't think Hellwig would put out to different levels of product quality. I would say what I just received from them would be the exact same thing from Summit.
I overlooked the part where it says "Hellwig" I thought it was another JCW brand X sway bar. Thanks for letting me know.

Thanks for the info... That is by far the best deal I have seen. Plus you get free freight! I ordered one also.

Just wondering if anyone has ordered the front sway bar from hellwig as well as the rear. If so, is the part number from JCW correct? When i tried to put them both into my cart, it asks to fill out this small form and answer a question about a F150 and F250. Can anybody answer any of these questions? Thanks
