Help! 2000 Excursion 7.3 turbo diesel - IAT and EBPV

Help! 2000 Excursion 7.3 turbo diesel - IAT and EBPV
I recently bought this excursion. The previous owner said there was a power drain. I was getting an error code P1119 - Manifold Absolute Temperature Circuit High Input.
After searching forums, I tested the resistance between both leads at the Intake Air Temp (IAT) sensor and the Powertrain Control Module (PCM), and found a short on the Gray/red wire. Because the wire is in this factory harness, rather than track down the short, I ran a new wire.
The error code went away, and I do not have the power drain that I had before, but (2) new error codes came up.
P0113 Intake Air Tempurature Circuit High Input
P0475 Exhaust Pressure Control Valve Manfunction

Great! I fix one thing, and get (2) more problems.

The guy I bought if from had a chip, but was running things at factory settings, which makes me suspicious that he started getting problems when that was installed.

What I have done so far... I disconnected the IAT sensor, and cleared the codes, they came right back. I jumpered acrossed the two lead of the IAT connector, and no additional codes appeared.
I just purchased a new IAT sensor, and will try replacing it this afternoon, by the sounds of things, this is not my problem.

I know the IAT and the EBPV are related, is my problem likely one or the other? There is also a Gray/red wire going to what I think is the EBPV (maybe the sensor) by cuting out the gray/red wire from the IAT did I disconnect that? Are those wires Tied? did I cut anything else out? Any thoughts? Help!?

If not it sounds like it could be my PCM... I'm hoping not as this is more pricy.

I would move this to the 7.3 forum. You will get more hits.

How do I move it? When you say 7.3 forum, which one do you mean?
