got a question for yall...

I was looking at getting the parts to make my pickups center console into a console with the cup holders in the back like you guys have(because it's most coolest[img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]).... but I noticed that there are different lids for the xlt and limited, whats the difference?

My XLT lid is the same color as the rest of the box. I think the Limited has wood grain on top. I would know for sure if they would have made a Silver Limited in 04 but I had to settle with an XLT! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]

Hi DAG,

Both of the trucks in my signature have the fake woodgrain on the top of the lid on the console. A good friend of mine has an '02 Superduty that doesn't. Other than the extra cupholders and some electrical hookups, the console in the Excursion is the same as in the pickups. Go figure. Craig.

Why not swap the lid(to the one without wood) once you get the new console-they ARE interchangeable.

My ex has the entertainment system, so my console has a powerpoint, woodgrain top and electrical controls for the DVD and the stereo.

My kids use the cup holders for their applecores and banana peels
