Hidden Winch on Excursion

Has anyone completed the Warn hidden winch installation on the Excursion? Do you have to remove the 'blocker beam'? Pictures? Estimated install time for reasonably competent person or two?

Sure like the way they look on a SuperDuty and have decided against the Brush Guard Mount for the Present.

Second part of Question: If it turns out I need the brush guard later, wonder if the extended front bumper will carry it?

Just picked my Lean (Estate) Green Machine 3 days ago and so far outstanding !!

Re: Hidden Winch on Excursion

I installed the Warn semihidden on my 2000 excursion PSD. Warn tech said it would not work. The "blocker beam" was not moved at all. I did have to leave off a bumper brace to each corner of the bumper that the trucks don't have. The rest of the install was the same as the instructions.I did not reinstall the lower flexible rubber factory piece as UI felt there would be better airflow to the aux coolers. The blocker beam and air dam are in the same stock position and are not really noticeable, just 5" aft of the extended bumper.

I think Warn is afraid of liability issues with the blocker beam possibly being removed
