How about a water methanol kit on a 7.3?

I was just wondering if anyone has a water methanol kit on a 7.3 powerstroke, and if so, what kind of gains were seen. I was also wondering how long a tank last and if it improves mileage too. They seem to produce good gains on a duramax and cummins and was just wondering if it would be worth it down the road. Thanks

It beat the rod ends of the stock rods out of round, blew a head gasket, and started a downward spiral that cost me around $50,000 out of pocket and has left my Excursion broken down for 3 of the last 4 years.

water-meth kit

yeah, that does not sound good. The thought of spraying a water mix into my intake just seems weird and I wondered about possible problems like this. Not a risk I am willing to take, that is for sure. Thanks again.

I'm going to reinstall it on the Cummins- but it will be turned way down and the only thing I'm interested in using it for is heavy towing to keep the EGT's down. 25% methanol max. 50% was way too much.
