how to stop the warning dingers - chimes - bells

I am trying to find a way to stop some of the bells on my 2004 X.

Everything clangs and beeps and I cannot find a way to stop them.

I spend a lot of time sitting in the X waiting for people, and sometimes at night. I would like to be able to listen to my radio with the door open without the bells and inside lights. Any ideas on what can be done and how?

I tried to find the chime but it seems to be a large one which is used for everything. Hate to kill it all if there is a way to be selective.

Any help appreciated.

1 Door open key in ACC position. Cannot listen to radio with door open.
2 Cannot have key in inigtion with door open.

3 Cannot open door without inside lights coming on, and staying on.

Thanks,

Mesu

Re: how to stop the warning dingers - chimes - bells

YEAH, I, too, would like to disable interior lights...like my gm product did...as for the light above the rear seat, i did fix that, take out the bulb........
that helped a little of the "stadium lightshow"

maybe is there a way to toggle switch the interiors?
i dunno either
