I broke down and bought an X

After a year of chasing my wife out of my truck so I could drive it. I broke down and bought her an Excursion.

When I bought my truck and promptly lifted it she said it was to hard to get into, it was to loud, it was to hard to park, but after she took it on one three hour road trip she was hooked on it like crack.

She has only driven her new Accord 3500 miles in 18 months. Her excuses are she can see over traffic better, she can command her way around the road, and the clincher, she feels safer driving with my son in a bigger vehicle. Basically, I would be a lesser parent if I didn't let her take my truck?

So here I am trading my truck in for an Excursion. I selling the Honda next week, it still smells new. Heres the best part my wife wants a two inch lift, all the cool add ons off my truck, all the emblems shaved, color matched side moldings(to her the gold/tan trim clashes with the chrome), and a big back bumper like mine. Thing god she doesn't know about this web site.

I've created a monster.

I'll post pics with the body work finished in a week or so.

If anyone has input on a 2" lift please let me know. I have to learn alot about the X in the next week or so.
