Just bought a 2000 Limited 4X4 w/7.3 and only 65k miles for $21k. Thanks to all of you on this site I knew exactly what I was looking for and what I was looking at. I got what I think is a great deal! It has a few things I need to fix (door actuators & shocks) but that's a used vehicle.
Let the mods begin! Going to start with the suspension. Looks like U codes, Ranchos, radius rods and airbags. Then we'll move on to an AIS, a BTM, IAH delete, a 2 position chip from Jody, and a Sonnax.
No, "V" codes and a 1.5 add a leaf. That will get you 3" solid. Bilstein shocks, sway bar and chip. then rack, stereo etc etc etc... Congrats though, it is fun to build these.

Yeah, don't really need it to be much higher. My understanding is that the U codes will give me about 1.5" more in front giving me a bit more travel and leveling it out.
