Pionner AVIC Z1 (or Z2)...works perfect...built in HD..so the nav is very fast and does a ton of other things. I did keep my factory steering wheel controls with the help of a small aftermarket unit that reprograms them. Fits perfect too.

Yep, I'm another VERY happy owner of the Pioneer system. I also have the back-up camera, XM Traffic and the TV piped into the dash screen.

I love the "factory" look. I hate "add-ons"...

Re: Indash GPS

BenBone,

Do you have the info on how to keep factory steering wheel controls with the AVIC-Z1 in a 02 EX?

Re: Indash GPS

just this past week i had the pioneer avic z1 put in my ex.. and i love it.. really does alot.. the owners manuel is thicker than some books ive had to read.. fits perfect and works perfect.. as far as the steering wheel functions.. look on ebay.. everything you would need you would be able to find there.. i will be doing that here soon.. i opted for the pioneer steering wheel remote.. was cheaper.. and works just as well.. gps is great.. you must learn to trust it.. and as far as the 6 disc changer.. no need for it if you get the z1 or z2.. its got the hard drive.. 10g for ripping cds.. so no need to cary your cds or have a 6 disk drive.. eliminate it all..
