Has anyone had experience with the ISSPRO R4130? It is supposed to read the temp of the turbo and shut down the engine after when the turbo cools to 300 degrees in diesel engines. According to the product promotion you can turn the ignition off, remove the key, lock the doors and the sensor will shut down your engine when the turbo cools off. Any info would be helpful.

Hi, rjohn37, and Welcome! to Ford-Diesel.com.
I have the ISSPRO TTM, and it's wonderful. If I could have only one accessory on my PSD, it would be the TTM. It should be standard on any turbo-engined vehicle.
Sitting in the truck waiting for the turbo to cool down to a safe temp is just about the most boring waste of time I can imagine. After doing that for a month or so, I installed the TTM. Now I just go on about my business and let the TTM do all the waiting.

Nice when it worked! Been without it for a month now
ISSPRO hasn't shipped any recently. so I can't get mine replaced.
Excellent concept, but mine is broke. I will continue until I get one that works!
Where did you mount your TTM, anyone. On our ambulances here they're mounted on the dash, and look kind of obtrusive. How else can they be done? Underdash, maybe?
I am interested in a TTM also. Did you mount the thermocouple before or after the turbo?
Some have suggested using this monitor, as well as a manually engaged exhaust brake to WARM UP the engine without the key in it (after starting and bringing exhaust temp to 300 plus. Is this feasible, anyone done it?
Anyone used one thermocouple connected to BOTH a TTM and a pyrometer gauge?

TTM's are wonderful, but if you have a EXCURSION, if the TTM is on for more than 15 seconds it will cause your GEM module to shut off your Keyless Entry Key FOB for about an hour after the TTM shuts down the engine.
I mounted mine next to my fuse box under the dash.
