Jotto Desk

I would like a Jotto Desk but they claim the Super Duty mount won't work in an Ex. Does anyone know why?

Re: Jotto Desk

Buy a HaviShileds console instead.

I love my console/computer mount.

Re: Jotto Desk

Jotto desk told me that there is either a heating or A/C duct on the floor right in front of the passenger seat. That duct does not exist in the Superduty, and that duct screws up the fit for Excursions.

Re: Jotto Desk

Look at the RAM mount system. They have one specifically for the Excursion, and they offer a permanent, or removable option. This is probably what I'm going to buy.

Re: Jotto Desk

VTFfireftr, I looked for computer mounts and didn't find a thing.

KahrBean, they say to plug the heat duct that ClevlandJim talks about for the Ram mount to work, that is no good.

So I guess the desision is if the kids need heat on the DS rear. I could always use the overhead heat.

Re: Jotto Desk

Ok, here is the low down. I own the 1995 F250 my parents own the 2003 Ex. I was hoping to find a setup that I would buy like Jotto Desk with mount for the Ex and then figure out how to mount it in my truck. Then I could swap it vehicle to vehicle leaving the mount(s). The console is neat but not doable for both applications. I have AutoEnginuity software and I am afraid my laptop isn't safe on the seat while driving.

Re: Jotto Desk

Someone emailed me saying he had an Excursion specific mount from Jotto. I called and the 425-5276 which says 04-05 they say will fit 2002-2006 but not 2000-2001 models. Well whatever, I know that it will work for my application.

So for those of you looking for a bolt in setup 425-5276 they retail for $325 but you can find it a little cheaper.
