Just drove 6.0L X !! WOW!

I was just driving by the local dealer here in Conroe, Texas and they had a new 6.0 sitting on the lot. I was amazed. I immediately went in and asked them if I could drive it. They said it was sold already, but said it would be ok if we took it for a short drive. We got it out on the road and the throttle response was amazing. Almost as good as my 7.3 chipped. I asked the salesman if I could put my foot in it and he said "Go for it". We kept that thing bouncing off the rev limiter for the next 5-10 minutes. I then told him that I would like to see how the thing would go offroad. He said "go for it". (gotta love this guy). So we took it out in a field that had those berms in it. It did alright, but the suspension bottomed out everytime I got big air. We decided we'd better get it back, so we ran it through a carwash and drove it back to the lot. I really feel bad for the guy who had bought it, as we beat the crap out of it. Nice truck though.

You had me for a second ... I can take a joke... so I am laughing.. now.. Good troll. Very funny! Isn't that exactly what everyone is worried about... you know that this kind of thing has to happen. Salesmen will do a lot to make a sale.

I'd probably be camping out with a tent outside the dealership if I was ever in your shoes. I'm sure they'll not let anyone drive it though. Would be stupid to loose that big of a sale over something like that.

Take care,
Dave
