K & N Air Filter

Changed the oil and cleaned the K & N Air Filter yesterday, the K & N has been installed for about 15,000 miles. It was VERY DIRTY.

When I first installed the filter I used K & N filter sealing gresase, when I checked yesterday, they was not one speck of dirt or dust in the tube, after seeing how dirty the filter, I was pleased to find no dirt in the tube. Needless to say, I installed it with the sealing grease again.

Take the rubber inlet hose off at the valve cover and check the hard plastic crankcase ventilation outlet where the rubber hose mounts to check for any dirt that got thru the filter. The inside of the rubber hose will not collect any dirt as there isn't any oil residue there to collect it.
