Re: Keeping Leather seats

Pmichael,

I have had good luck with Meguiar's Gold Class leather cleaner and conditioner.

I usually do the entire leather surfaces twice a year. The high wear areas (driver / passenger seat) every month or so.

Re: Keeping Leather seats

I've been using LEXOL leather preservative on all my leather products for years. It's in a brown container, can be found at most equestrian supply stores. It leaves a waxy finish rather than a oily finish, dosen't attract dirt and dust, repells water. I was getting Levi blue on the edge of my seat, after treating so far no blue. Maybe this is the fix people have been looking for.

Re: Keeping Leather seats

Thanks for the info. I've also been noticing a blue color accumulating on the driver's seat edge, too. Since I wear Levi's most of the time, I assume it's coming from the denim. I'll have to try the Meguiar's or the Lexol too.
