Keyed power at console ??

I am looking at installing an inverter under the rear cup holders in the center console and I am looking for a keyed acc. power . Does the wiring for the center console run thru the floor or under the carpet?

You may want to run a new wire of thicker gauge. Those things draw some power and the existing wires may not be up to the load. They must run under the carpet, when I installed my stereo I saw a huge bundle that ran down the sill plate at the doors.
