Kingpin Dana 60 Front Axle swap?

has any one swapped in a Kingpin dana 60 Axle into a Super Duty ? the bolt pattern for the rims is one catch.. I think that could be remedied maybe redrill or swap parts?...also the spring perch spacing and angles.. maybe welding a trac bar bracket etc... caliper interchange etcetc.. any one tried it?
Thanks
Deo

Why...KP D60 will cost way more than a SD D60 and the later will bolt right in.

I'm no rocket scientist, but maybe he's looking to switch to kingpin style knuckles?..?
possibly for crossover steering ? high steer arms:..?/ Since there's more aftermarket gear available for modding the kingpin styles. This is usually desirable when/if doing substantial lift on the rig.
just my thoughts.

Other than that, yes, I'd agree; I think the super 60's are just slightly beefier.

not sure if this link helps or maybe ya'll are already familiar w/ it, but helps me a bit to understand as I'm looking for options of building a rock crawler rig on a SD chassis.

I do read Pirate4x4 web forum every now and then. The reason I was thinking about the swap was to get rid of th eballjoints, sget rid of th eunit bearings and get rid of the vacuum auto lock hubs in one shot.the price of th edynatrac bearing kit is about $2000 and that buys alot of kingpin dana 60's well at least 2 ..that was the idea . I want to upgrade to a Dana 60 from the Dana 50 and , I would also like 3:55 gears etc... etc.. sounds like i should just keep the superduty style from the reponse here.
Thanks
Deo
