Gotta stop to get rid of coffee. And why would you want to carry more weight in fuel?

Hmmm. 45 gallon tank, figure you are running solo, so let's say worst case you are getting 18 mpg, (I see higher, but i'm being pessimistic.) Gives you 800 miles of range. Driving 70, your vehicle has 11.5 hours of endurance...don't know if you do!

Even if ya don't drink coffee, you'll still need a coffee can!

Re: Larger Fuel Tanks for Exucrsions?

First - never heard of anyone WANTING a bigger tank on the Excursion, and then second (of course) never done it either. The only 'extra' fuel tank on mine is a 20 gal propane tank - extends the range quite a bit I'm sure - haven't taken a long trip since it was installed. I guess you could mount a tank from a SD in the same place You would just need to get a fuel selector switch and solenoid valve to switch between the two.........

Aero Tanks used to have and aux tank for the X advertised, but I don't see it on their pages now. You might give em a call.
