Seriously, all indications say yes, production may go into the '06 MY. Unless something else happens to the extended Expedition project for '07.

Would you buy the last year, even without the upgrades of the 05 SD's or wait for the replacement. The replacement Expedition will have more safety features like 3rd seat headrests, center position shoulder belts, side curtain air bags and maybe stability control. Not sure if a diesel engine will be available.
I still like the 00 - 02 Limited versions of the Excursion over the Limited and EB's with the painted bumpers. At this point will keep eye out for 02 Limited, PSD to replace my V10. I'm still not sold on the 6.0.
