I tried to search, but really did not locate what I was looking for. I know a few here have the Banks Monster and are happy with it, but I was wondering if anyone has any experience with Magnaflow and Gibson? The Banks seems to be the highest priced, with Magnaflow in the middle and Gibson the least expensive.
Can anyone give me some feeback regarding all the above exhausts and how the fit is related to the Ex.
Last bit of info - I'm leaning towards getting a turbo back system.
Thanks for the help,
J

Can't speak about the other brands but just put a turbo back MBRP system on my 03 and the install was a breeze and fit very well. Recently put one on a 99 CC F350 Dually as well.
I honestly believe that an exhaust is an exhaust is an exhaust. I don't think they have any diffeences other than the muffler if you choose to run it and down pipe width and the materials used to make it.
I may be wrong here and others may chime in but for as much money as some of the other stuff is I just don't see how a person can justify the added expense.
To each his own though.
I found that making the cuts in the stock system before taking it all apart was the easiest route. I wish I would have known that going into it the first time as i would have saved some time, but the second exhaust went on in about half the time.

I agree with CMinus. The biggest difference I think, is fitment. The big "manufactures" (could be sold under different brands) will likely fit better.
I have Magnaflow only because at the time that the '04 Excursion came out, they were the only ones that had made the hanger change. MBRP even told me to go with Magnaflow because they wouldn't be ready with theirs for a while. Plus I got the Magnaflow for a steal. If I were to do it today, I'd go with MBRP simply because they have their own delete/test pipes available, and I've heard that the mufflers sound better. Although, I might consider not using a muffler.

I got mbrph here as well. It has a little lower sound. I went turbo back and kept the cat. My wife never noticed the sound and I have yet to tell her I got it installed (over 6 months ago) I bought mine from:

I did a write up about a year or so ago when I put on the magnaflow XL system, and turbo back with CC welded in. Worked just fine see the write up for a few tips.
