Looking for new X

I am looking to trade in my 2002 F250 PSD Lariat CC for an Eddie Bauer PSD X. I know there are good deals out there (like $8-$9K off MSRP) but I can't find any around. Does anybody have any connections around Dallas? Thanks.

Are you willing to take ANY EB? There aren't that many out there.

I think that you need to find what you want first, hopefully at 2 different dealers so that you can play them off each other.

$6000 +rebate (currently $2000 on 6.0) you should be able to get just about anywhere. The extra $1000-$2000, you are going to have to work for.

Mike Brown Ford in Granbury was advertising $10,000 off all X's (he has 1 white, 1 black and 1 red all sticker for $49,800), but I think that they are hail units.

I'd stay away from that Ford dealer in Frisco (he is an Autonation dealer, I forget the name). I tried to buy an '02 X from him last summer (ended up waiting on the '03's to come out). He wanted OVER dealer invoice for his X, and low-balled me ($3600 LESS than I got 3 months later) on my trade. You are wasting your time with him.

Call the sales mgr, Gary Burdick @ Grand Praire Ford and tell him John from Mansfield said to call him - He's an odd salesmen - an honest one [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img] - little of a drive for you on I-30 just east of 360, but worth it for me from Lakeridge in Cedar Hill..
I even go back to them for service since they've REALLY taken care of me !

He got me 10K off on my '02 and about the same on my '03...
Do your homework by getting the COST of your ride, check their inventory, and be ready to sign the deal... remembering that they have a 3% holdback...
Get your comparisons ready and do most of your work online...
They are closed Sundays, though, but you can contact him via their website...
