Today I experienced a loud vibration after
easying off the pedal at about 70mph (and after driving 250 miles). It sounded almost like I was dragging something. I pulled over and didn't see any thing obvious. I moved off slowly, but it was still vibrating like crazy; so I stopped and looked again; moved off again and the noise dissapeared. It reappeared momentarily over the next 3 or 4 miles (sounded 'tinny' this time), but didn't reappear for the last 150 miles.
As much as I can tell it came from the middle of the vehicle, may be the trany, probably not the engine, but tough to pin point it as it was so intermittent.
The dealer says "if you can't demonstrate the problem I can't fix it". I guess I see their point.
As you might guess, I'm a little hesitant to take the next 1000 mile yourney way from home.
Anybody have any thoughts on the source of the vibration?
The PSD Excursion has about 5.5K miles on it
