Mag-Hytec tranny pan on 2002 X???

Hi Guys,

Just some info for the forum. I tried to install a Mag-Hytec on my 2002 Excursion today and found out that the crossmember hits the pan. I dropped the crossmember and installed the pan and then went to put the crossmember back up and found that it hit the pan! BUMMER!!! Anyway, does anyone know if they make a pan just for the X or what needs to be done( short of altering the crossmember) to get one to fit? Thanks

Clint

Re: Mag-Hytec tranny pan on 2002 X???

I just slid the crossmember back a couple of inches by mounting the front holes of the crossmember to the existing rear holes on the frame and drilling 2 new holes in the frame for the rear crossmember holes. Simple.
