Mini Sub Woofer

Does anyone have any experience with the Blaupunkt THb 200A?

I'm looking for more bass, but nothing extreme. This gets great reviews, but I'm wondering if the interior size of these trucks would be too much for it. I'm also considering the Infinity Basslink but I like the smaller size of the Blaupunkt. It should fit under the seat.

I'll be adding this to a new set of Infinity Reference speakers.

I actually just ordered the Blaupunkt powered sub. Should be here this week. I will let you know how it sounds.

I have one in my work car, a Mini Cooper S. It does alright with that limited airspace, don't think I'd be looking to put one in my new X though. I don't know if it has the power to do that much in such a large area, I would go with the Basslink instead, much more powerful.

Did you get this installed? How does it sound?

I ordered one as well. It gets here on Tuesday.

The Infinity speakers made a lot of difference. I think with an amp, a sub wouldn't be needed. But my understanding is that an amp on the speakers screws up the dual option on the DVD player where you can't listen to both the radio and have the DVD going in the rear.

I finally got mine installed this weekend. I've had it for about a week now...just couldn't find time to install it. Anyway, I am very happy with the sound and the ease of installation. It fits under the passenger side second row captain chair perfectly. The sound is very good, it doesn't rattle the windows, but very rich bass. Which is exactly what I was looking for.

As far as the amp question....I don't have the DVD system in my X so I dont know about that.

Sounds perfect. Any tips for the install? Mine arrives tomorrow.

no it won't mess it up if you have a 4 channel amp to drive your door speakers and run all 4 channels to your amp(LF,RF/LR,RR) from the H/U...for me, what sounds bad is if you have an active sub and the dual play is on...

i have a 4 channel amp fed from the factory 6 disc and a LOC..this amp has a preamp for my sub amp which takes it's signal from the rear channels from my door speaker amp...when i have the dual play active i have a switch on the dash which kills the +12vt remote signal to the sub amp so only the door speakers are "on"...this makes it easier for everyone to listen... radio plays on the front door speakers, and "whatever" plays in the back..
