I need your help. The other day I was driving along side of an excursion that had the standard mirrors (not the trailer tow ones) and it looked like the glass in the passenger side mirror was one of those that make objects appear farther away than they appear. I have an f350 superduty with flat standard power mirrors. I would really like to have the ones that are curved. Could you tell me if the standard mirrors on the excursion are curved. Thanks for all the help!
i know when i first saw an excursion it had the mirror that said things in this mirror are closer then appear. so you could change yours out for one of the excursions : : i was but then i put the heated ones on mine with the turn signal in them. if you do change yours for a excursions you will also have one heated glass and on not!

Guess I wasn't seeing things that day. I'll check with the dealer to see if they have any of them in stock. No need for heated mirrors here in hawaii.

Guess the installation of the heated mirrors would be about the same for the excursions mirrors. How difficult was it. Anyone out there changed their mirror? Just the glass or do I need to buy the whole assembly?
when i started to ck things out you cann`t get just a new piece of glass for the SD mirrors. i went to ford and a glass co. you need to buy the hole mirror.if you find out anything new let me know

Stephen, how much trouble was it to put the turn signal mirrors on the Excursion, had them on a 97 EB Expedition...can they work with the trailer towing extensions?

'04 EB Oxford White Excursion 4x4, born 7/21/03 with 6/23/03 Indy 6.0 PSD (actually the Crew Cab Superduty with the built in air conditioned Camper Shell). Skid Plates, Warn Concealed 12M Winch (Why Ford insists on paying EB a royalty is beyond me but I could not order a White Limited.)
Checked with Honolulu Ford and you have to buy the whole assembly. The sales rep told me to check with a glass co, but he doesn't think they can do one of those convex ones.
