The twisted ones need the file name in all lower case, such as:

Some great examples of EXTREME articulation.

If I am looking at it correctly, the front axle is supported by a coilover spring on top of the shock, the leaf spring has been eliminated, is that correct?

Also, is there much bump steer when the right side front compresses due to a large bump or obstacle?

Ok...sometimes I get a little too confident and don't check my work...LOL See what happens. I did manage to get all of the links working though.

Yes...you are correct, The front end is now supported buy the new King Coilover Shock. The ride is still very good, more plush than the 8" lift I had before this and I am able to adjust the ride height very easily. So far I am very happy with this setup and love the ride. I never really noticed how you get the spring feedback reverberation, from a leafspring. That is totally gone now. I just want to go ramp it. LOL

Bump steer? Not bad. I have an extreme drop pitman arm which you can see pretty much paralled the steering arm with the Track bar. Plus the dual stabalizer helps tremendously. It is noticable but not like you would expect from such a big truck. I am working on a highsteer setup that will work with the coil overs but that is coming slowly. All I have so far are the spindles.

Re: More pics of my 2002 Excursion Limited Ultra with Z-Link

Very nice. I was at Skyjacker last month and took a look at the Dually that they have the Z link installed on. It's a clean set-up. Also very $$$. I thought that it only came in a 6" or 8" version. How did you get 10.5"? Also yours is very flexy in the rear. What are you running in the back?

Again sweet X.

Re: More pics of my 2002 Excursion Limited Ultra with Z-Link

Rab, great looking X you got there! Can someone explain this suspension setup to me? It seems to me that the rear links and the front links are working against each other. Wouldn't you get more wheel travel if you had a traditional 4 link setup like the monster trucks run? In my head, the two arcs that the two links create, are working against each other, thus not maximizing wheel travel It would only go to a certain point, then begin to bind...
