more x rumors

good evening:

the Mrs. said there was some talk among the guys where she works that ford is gonna quit making excursions. i realize that this rumor comes [goes?] around every so often, but these guys keep up with trucks pretty closely.

has anyone heard anything about this? it sure would be nice to own a 'collector's item'.

thanks in advance. thanks to all the people with towing answers too. i feel better about it.

Andy: what does your trailer, etc. weigh? i missed that part. you know about us older folks.....more of those senior moments as time goes on.

i like mine stroked.

Re: more x rumors

I weighed at a scale last fall when I was loaded with gear, two bikes, etc. and figured that the trailer and contents was at about 4,000 lbs.

Since the trailer was mainly epty, this was sure a load of post holes, and know that I can easily double this weight with more contents.
