Mud flap Part #s

Does anyone have accurate Part #s for the front and rear mud flaps for the LTD Excursion. I read somewhere on this site that the fronts are the same as the superduty.

Re: Mud flap Part #s

Not sure which is front & which is back, but these are from my Dealer invoice...

YC3Z 16A550 CA KIT - MUDFLA
Y33Z 16A550 DA KIT - MUDFLA

List $50.05 per kit here in Canada.

They look good on my Limited. I had trouble convincing the dealer to order them in, they said their "microfiche" said they were white. But when they I finally convinced them to order them anyways, they were black.

Thanks for the input, but based on other posts the flaps for the limited do not fit the XLT. The rear were supposedly available for the XLT and the fronts were for either the SD or the XLT Excursion.

Re: Mud flap Part #s

He's right. For the XLT you can only get the Ford back flaps and only in black.

Some posters have claimed you can put other Ford SD flaps on the front of the XLT but I have not been able to confirm this and there are just not enough Excursions here to check out..

I put the flat flaps from a Dodge Ram on the front of my XLT and they're working so well I might just keep them on - the mounting holes even matched up (for you purists out there, at least the Dodge flaps came off of a Cummins-engined rig).

Whoops, I thought you were looking for LTD mudflap part #'s. Didn't know you had an XLT...

Re: Mud flap Part #s

I went to the dealer today asking about mudflaps for my XLT Excursion. I was told they are available for the front and rear, $37/pair. I asked him if he was sure these are for the XLT. He said the list of accessories for the Limited is totally separate in his computer. Apparently they are now available for front and rear.
I have not ordered them since I haven't seen any to know if this is what I want. Do any of you have pictures you could post or know of a site I could go to to take a look? The parts guy said they are black with the blue oval embedded in them.
Any info you have will be appreciated!

Thanks,

Terry

Terry

Great. Hope your dealer is correct. My dealer had said the same thing and ordered the front flaps for me. When they came in, right on the package it said "LTD Front" and they did not fit.

If yours turn out to be the right ones, please get back to us and post the numbers so I can educate my dealer.

Re: Mud flap Part #s

According to another post, the front flaps for the 250 SD and the Excursion XLT are the same. The post said it was written on the box and that they installed correctly. Every parts quote I have gotten though has given the incorrect part # (the LTD #) for the XLT. It is some confusing.

I have ordered front and back sets from Heintzelman's. We'll see.

I ordered the SD front mudflaps from the dealer. When the box showed up it said SD AND XLT Excursion. BTW - they fit perfectly.
