Re: NEED GRILLE GUARD

Roller -

You and I are in the same neck of the woods. If you find something, let me know. I have heard that Aerosuds (out on the Boulder turnpike) has some stuff for Fords. If you get out there, and see something you like, let me know. I want to get a grille guard, and a controller for some lights that I already have that desperately need to be on the front of the X-car. I have a neighbor who customizes jeeps for mountain trails. He can tell me all sorts of stuff very quickly, but I never have anything to write with when he tells me. If you strike out, maybe I'll get him to take me to one of these places and look around.

Re: NEED GRILLE GUARD

Roller -

We're neighbors! I live in Jackson Farms just up the hill from you guys. We can't be living more than a couple of miles apart. We must be rattling the neighborhood something fierce when I crank up at 0630 and lumber down the street!

Keep me posted on those goodies and prices. Maybe we can have a burger together down at the BK across from the Albertson's one day.

Jay.

Re: NEED GRILLE GUARD

Look at http://www.ford-diesel.com/photos/getphoto.php3?409

I will remove the bottom one or two crossbars in the center portion to make room for a couple of Hella 210s.

Soon. Some day. It's not getting that dark at night yet...

Re: NEED GRILLE GUARD

Bjornar -

I saw the photo. That's a great looking vehicle in ANY light. The photo is of professional quality as well. Are you a photographer by trade?

Will your lights fill up the gap created by the absence of the lower bars? If not, can you make some cut-out on either side that fits the lights, to preserve the look?

I'd hate to do anything to diminish the look of that beautiful grille!

Show us what you have when you get finished.

Jay
