Need Opinions- Limited or Limited Ultimate - Diesel Forum

Hello all,
Well, I was looking at either a 2000 or 2001 used Excursion Limited, but after talking to my dealer and getting my X-Plan price (ballpark figure since i have to order the truck) along with a great APR, I am now going with a 2002. The only question I have is whether or not to get the Limited or the Limited Ultimate. The difference in price is less than $1,000.00, but do you really need all the extra bells and whistles? What do you think? Feedback from owners of both would be great!

If you're spending that much on a truck, what difference is a $1,000? I personally like the new steering wheel with the controls for the radio and climate controls. Between the wife and I, the memory seats would be nice too.

If it were me, I'd spring for the ultimate. I'd hate to pay $40k and then say I wish I had gotten the other package...

Still your call, just my two cents.

Thanks for the responses. Rover, what do you mean by darker side moulding? Just curious.

I believe you can get darker side moulding with the ultimate....thats worth the $1000 to me...

I hate this tan crap and have not gotten around to removing it...
