New 6.0 4WD Ex Ltd...two questions...

I brought it home for a test drive...2 questions...immediate pickup seems less than my 1997 7.3 with 3:55 rear, is it just my inexperience with the feel of a new motor/tranny,3:73 rear combo?...Second, on turning in both high and low range with 4WD...big time binding up...really have to power it to move...thanks for any insight...Ed

Wait till it breaks in then you'll be grinnin'

I had ours on snow covered roads a couple weeks ago and didn't have no symptoms of binding in 4x then again never put a 4x4 in 4x on dry/wet roads.

Re: New 6.0 4WD Ex Ltd...two questions...

I throw mine in/out of 4x4 hi/lo every now and again out in the back yard to keep everything loose. I also drove around in 4x4 in the ice storm last year.

You can tell something is different, but no binding. Doesn't feel any different than any other 4x4 I've driven (not really that many of those).

If you have to stomp on the go-pedal to make it move, sounds like something needs attention.
